Pat Pillai’s heartwarming and hilarious stories are inspired by Rylands, Athlone on the Cape Flats in the '70s, '80s, and '90s! Meet 16 diverse characters, magically brought to life by Pillai (writer/storyteller), with Melvin Peters (on piano).

The Cape Flats is a mix of cultures from Africa, Europe & the East, with a diverse Hindu, Muslim, and Christian community. Experience these often ignored, often overlooked ordinary people.
