Women @ the Table Celebrating Women in the Deaf Sector

Women @ the Table is a signature event hosted by Neema Foundation
for the Deaf, dedicated to celebrating, honouring, and empowering Deaf
and Hard-of-Hearing women, alongside the women and allies whose
commitment continues to advance inclusion, accessibility, and positive
change within the Deaf community.

This inspiring gathering recognises Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing women from
disadvantaged backgrounds, parents of Deaf children, teachers, South
African Sign Language (SASL) interpreters, and stakeholders whose
dedication has helped create opportunities, break barriers, and
transform lives for Deaf Persons.

Women @ the Table event aims to provide an inclusive platform where
Guests can look forward to an unforgettable experience filled with
inspiration, meaningful conversations, personal growth, and celebration.
The programme features a motivational keynote address, financial
empowerment and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness sessions,
engaging panel discussions, live entertainment, comedy, networking
opportunities, recognition awards, exciting giveaways, and moments of
self-care and reflection—all thoughtfully designed to foster connection,
learning, and empowerment
