Celebrate the rich legacy of South African opera at the Petit Opera Festival in the breathtaking Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden. The weekend honours the South African Envoys of Opera, in the book by the author Margaretha Deysel Stemmet, who performed 22 operatic roles in Austria and numerous roles in South Africa. The festival concludes with an enchanting afternoon of Italian Opera and Neapolitan Songs performed by Jo-Nette Le Kay (Soprano), Blaine Josephs (Tenor) and Winand Grundling (Pianist).
