Masisapelo Vicious Circle

Masisapelo (Vicious Circle) follows two siblings whose lives are changed following the death of their mother. They are confronted with the painful reality of abuse within their home, including physical, emotional and sexual abuse. As the siblings struggle to cope with their circumstances, the situation ultimately leads to the death of the perpetrator. The production raises important questions around justice, accountability, trauma and the consequences of taking the law into one's own hands.
Through theatre, the production encourages audiences to reflect on child abuse, violence, family relationships, resilience and the importance of speaking out and seeking help.
