People’s Pavillion Festival

The People’s Pavilion Festival is more than a music event—it’s a reclamation. This space once bustled with life, colour, music, and identity. We’re bringing that energy back, led by the very voices who lived it. This is a new chapter one where the people of Strandfontein, Mitchells Plain and surrounding areas write their own story, in full colour, on their stage.


A one-day beachfront celebration of heritage, food, memory, and youth, held at the Strandfontein Pavilion, the festival aims to:
-To revive the Strandfontein Pavilion as a premier cultural hub along the False Bay coastline.
-To celebrate and showcase local talent in music, arts, and culinary delights.
-To create economic opportunities for local artists, vendors, and entrepreneurs.
-To foster community pride and unity through shared celebration.
