The 2nd Edition of this Zululand favourite event, Professor Otty Nxumalo Marathon returns to Vryheid on Saturday 03 October 2026.
This 4-in-1 event, comprises of the 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km races. The 42 km race is an Official Qualifier for both the 2027 Two Oceans and Comrades Marathons.
In 2026, this event has a new home at Abaqulusi Plaza, in the heart of Vryheid. The race route will take you on a tour of Vryheid town. Whilst on the 42.2 km route, you will catch sight of Inkamana Abbey’s memorable architecture and the scenic Klipfontein Dam. Whether you run in a group or prefer a solitary run, this race will definitely give you an enjoyable moment on the road.

- Friday, 02-Oct-26: from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday 03-Oct-26 (race day morning): from 4:00 a.m. until 5:50 a.m.
Webtickets will sell only the early race entries until Sun 19-Sep 11:59pm.
